Thanksgiving Weekend
Sorry for the lack of updates. Have been very busy and my fishing days have been limited due to bad weather conditions. We have had a good trout bite, lots of little ones with a few nice ones in the mix, blue fish and a few drum. We are also still catching a few king mackerel offshore when the weather has been nice.

Oct. 16th
Fishing good this weekend. The ocean was rough on Saturday but we caught looks of bluefish. The wind laid down Sunday afternoon and gave us some great Albacore fishing. The Albacore were ranging from 6 to 12lbs. There are also some speckled trout showing up in the marshes and was a good king mackerel bite late on Sunday afternoon.

Oct. 7th
There are a few king mackerel starting to show up on the beach, fingers crossed that we will have a smokin' bite soon.

End of Sept.
We have had a long spell of bad weather and it looks like the fall bite is finally getting here. Between the hurricane, tropical storms offshore shore and the rain the fishing hasn't been very steady but it looks like it is stating to turn. We found some albacore today about 4 miles offshore, where I ran into some clean water. The bite was pretty steady with 3 or 4 different schools of fish working the area. Lets hope this is just the beginning of some great fall fishing this year.

Aug. 22nd
This afternoon I had some great people onboard, a set of grandparents and two of their grandchildren. We had a good action packed afternoon of catching spanish mackerel and bluefish. The fish were really schooled up with lots of birds working over them, as you can tell by the pictures.

Aug. 18th
Two days after my last trip and if you can't tell it is the same guys from the flounder picture below, and wouldn't you know a second citiation size flounder in days of fishing. These are a couple of good guys down from upstate New York who have put it to a couple 5lb+ flounders in 2 days of fishing, great job! As well as the flounder we still found a few spanish schooled up in inlet which makes for some fun lite tackle fishing.

Aug. 10th thru 16th
The spanish mackerel are still hitting pretty hard most days. We have been catching them in the inlet using lite tackle and jigs, and also using live finger to catch bigger spanish upwards of 5-6lbs. on some of the reefs. The flounder fishing is still staying steady with a few flounder every trip, we are catching them inshore and in the ocean, the ocean has been more productive but we still pulled a 5.75lb. flounder off a dock inside the sound.

Aug. 5th
Inshore the bluefish have been schooled up along with a few spanish, we are also catching a few flounder inshore and some of the reefs. Along with flounder on the reefs we are catching some very nice spanish mackerel and king mackerel while light lining live finger mullets. This is very fun fishing on small spinning outfits.

July 31st
Finally had some weather to make it out to one of bottom fishing spots, and it was well worth it. We caught 10 small dolphin that schooled around the boat, some really nice trigger fish and black sea bass, along with 9 groupers (kept our limit of 3) and released a really nice american red snapper.

July 29th
Went out with a very nice family to show them a few fishing techniques that landed their son a very nice spanish mackerel. Along with the spanish the bluefish were very plentiful.

July 23rd
Change of forecast gave us a 20mph+ day which left fishing kind of hard. Found a couple spanish mackerel and a few bluefish early and then the wind really started to blow. Switched gears a tried some flounder fishing. Caught 5 and had 2 keepers, this one was around 4lbs.

July 21st
Back home from honeymoon and back to business. Had a good day of lite tackle fishing for spanish mackerel. We had a couple first timers aboard which did very good, and we ended up with a 20 fish day, not bad!

July 13th
Did a little honeymoon fishing while in the Florida Keys. Had a great time down there and even got to squeeze in a little fishing. Here is my wife and I with a pair of beautiful Mutton Snapper.

July 1st
Finally got another pretty day to run to one of my favorite spots, and it was worth it. We had a great catch of king mackerel and spanish mackerel, especially for summer time . The largest king weighed in at 26lbs., and all of them were caught with live bait.

June 27th
It has been a busy two weeks. I got married! I have still been able to get in a little fishing with all of the business. The spanish mackerel have moved in and are schooling up nice which makes for fun lite tackle fishing. We are still catching blues and flounder as well on the inside.

June 14th
The day started out kind of slow, but we pulled it out with some flounder at the end of the trip. We caught about a dozen or so and had 6 over the legal mark, along with a couple bluefish and a sea bass.

June 11th
First trip out to sea bass territory since the season opened up, and we hammered them. We called through the small ones and ended up keeping 41 sea bass and 6 trigger fish.

June 4th
Had a good start to the morning catching lots of bluefish and spanish mackerel, we actually released more then we kept! After that we tried looking for a king mackerel but we struck out, still a little early. We did end up catching a lot of sharks and a couple small flounder.

Memorial Day Weekend
Sorry I didn't get any pictures, but the fishing was pretty good. Once you could get away from all of the boats the fishing was good. I found a lot of big sea bass which we will be able to harvest starting June 1st., lots of sharks ranging from 2 1/2ft. - 6ft., and a decent amount of flounder. I also saw a couple cobia, which are starting to thin out, and talk to a few people who are still catching plenty of spanish mackerel and bluefish.
May 21st
I finally got a pretty day to run offshore in search of some dolphin (mahi). I didn't have a good day catching dolphin but catching 3 sailfish made up for the bad dolphin bite. Along with the sailfish we also did some bottom fishing catching some triggerfish and big sea bass (which doesn't open for a few more days.
The inshore fishing is still providing plenty of spanish mackerel and blues, along with the flounder bite getting better.

May 14th
A good day of flounder fishing. The Cobia bite is slowing up, but the spanish mackerel, blues, flounder, and reds are getting hotter.

First weekend in May.
A nice catch Spanish Mackerel, Blues, and Flounder. The size of the Spanish are getting bigger and had quite a few flounder but most just undersized.

End of April beginning of May
The fishing is getting off to a good start. Reds are showing up in the marshes, Blues are coming in the inlets in large numbers, Cobia's are starting to be caught on bait balls and in the inlets, and a few Flounders and Spanish Mackerel are showing up.
